Fatigue is commonly associated with women going through menopause transition. It can be persistent and disruptive to our overall quality of life. During perimenopause, our hormone levels fluctuate constantly. Our female hormones gradually decrease until our body stops making them altogether. The same hormonal changes that cause conditions like hot flashes and night sweats can also affect our mood and energy levels, leading to fatigue. These hormone variations can also make it harder for us to sleep at night, and leave us feeling tired during the day.
