MMM Reviews:
I’ve struggled with dry, brittle, thinning hair for a couple of years. While it’s still really only noticeable to me and my stylist, the thinning gets a bit worse with each year that passes. I started using @KreyolEssence Haitian Black Castor Oil w/Rosemary and Peppermint a few months ago (rosemary and peppermint essential oils have been used to promote hair growth). I’ve noticed some new growth, but it’s still a bit early to know how much of is due to the oil. That aside, have noticed that my hair is much softer and there’s significantly less breakage since I started using it. Another favorite menopause go-to, it’s now a part of my regular routine.
FYI, a little goes a long way… Rosemary is a pretty fragrant herb and you may smell like an herb garden after using. Also, it’s important to note that some people are sensitive to rosemary oil when it’s applied directly to the skin or scalp. Because of this, I strongly recommend that you test the oil on your skin in a small amount to see if/how you react, before applying regularly.

I started using the Haitian Black Castor Oil with Organic Rosemary and Peppermint by Kreyòl Essence because I was dealing with a few noticeable bald patches and thinning areas, and I wanted something natural but effective. I’ve tried castor oils before, but this one truly stands out in quality.
The oil is rich and thick, but it doesn’t feel overly greasy once it’s massaged into the scalp. I really appreciate the rosemary and peppermint infusion, you can feel a gentle tingling sensation that makes it seem like the scalp is being stimulated without any burning or irritation. It also smells clean and herbal, not overpowering.
After a few weeks of consistent use (about 3–4 times a week), I started noticing less shedding and new growth coming in around my bald patches. The hair that’s growing back feels stronger and healthier, and my overall hair looks shinier and more moisturized. I also noticed my scalp feels healthier, with less dryness and itchiness.
What I love most is knowing it’s 100% pure and packed with omega fatty acids and vitamin E. It feels like I’m actually nourishing my scalp rather than just coating my hair. This has become a staple in my hair care routine, especially for protective styles and scalp treatments.
If you’re struggling with thinning hair, bald spots, or alopecia and want a natural solution, I genuinely recommend giving this a try, it’s been a game changer for me.
