Black Cohosh

Black Cohosh is an herb found in North America that was used by Native Americans for medicinal purposes. While studies of its effectiveness in reducing hot flashes have produced mixed results, many women report that Black Cohosh has helped them either moderately or significantly. It’s also been used to ease  other conditions, including menstrual cramps and premenstrual syndrome.
